Anyway, back to the weekend, and the plans I have made for it. Tomorrow my husband is taking his Dad to Wimpole Hall for their 1940s weekend, and I have the house to myself for the afternoon. My plan is to finish cleaning my sock creature room, and then get busy with the sewing machine. On Sunday we are heading over to West Raynham again for another VW meet. This could possibly be the last outing in the campervan this year so will be making the most of it, and hope for lots of great photos in front of the old buildings. Then it's time for an early night, as I have an early start on Monday to attend a Conference with work. This will be the second time I have stayed away for this job, and although I'm going to miss my husband lots, I'm looking forward to the experience of going away with work, meeting customers, and learning more about the industry in which I am working. I'm also secretly looking forward to dressing up on Monday night as Britney Spears, in naughty school girl outfit!

Hooray for the weekend
It's Friday night, and as usual I'm feeling ready for bed at 9pm. It's been quite a quick week at work, even though I haven't been very busy. It's been quite a positive week, with hints of some exciting changes on the horizon, which has made me feel better after the horrible comments that were made by a colleague last week. I need to learn not to take things to heart, but it's easier said than done, especially when I don't think that highly of myself anyway. Although, these comments still play over in my head, I can laugh them of as stupid thoughtless things, especially after telling a close work colleague about the incident, who thought they were stupid too. Add this to some positive comments made by two bosses this week, and I feel much better about things.
